Special Session dedicated to SESAME at World Science Forum 2017

Jordan will host the 8th World Science Forum from 7 to 11 November 2017, and a special session will be dedicated to SESAME: “SESAME – A Source of Light in the Middle East”.

This Session is scheduled on 7 November, its aim is to give a brief introduction to SESAME and its mission to develop scientific excellence in the region.  There will be 4 speakers, Dr Khaled Toukan (Director of SESAME), Dr Özgül Öztürk (Scientific User) Prof Yuval Golan (prospective Scientific User) and Prof Andrew Harrison (Director of DIAMOND, UK). Prof Rolf Heuer, President of SESAME Council, will be the moderator of the Session.
